Introduction to Mosaics is a great class for the first-time mosaic artists. In this class you will learn to cut glass, and properly use mosaic nippers, adhering the glass to the substrate and proper grouting techniques. We will discuss types of substrates and adhesives. You will be provided a selection of patterns to choose from, access to mosaic glass pieces, and an 8 x 10 substrate.
Supply Fee: Included is the use of our cutting equipment, mosaic nippers, mosaic glass pieces, and one piece of substrate, about 8 x 10. . Students will need to purchase the adhesive, any additional glass desired and grout.
Students need to bring: Black and Silver Sharpie to the first class
All glass and supplies used in class must be purchased from Stained Glass Craters Workbench.
